JC Radio Radar Policies

Support policy

Support is provided by WhatsApp (+593 98 290 9595) and email ([email protected]). Please include your station's name and, if possible, a screenshot.

It covers installing the program, setting up the recordings folder or audio input, loading jingles, spots and shows, and fixing program errors.

It does not cover repairing the computer, the network, the sound card or the station's recording software (logger).

Fixes and new versions of the program are delivered at no cost while the subscription is active.

Terms and conditions

JC Radio Radar is a Windows program that analyzes a radio station's recordings. Each license is for one station and the computer where it is activated.

The free trial lasts 3 days from installation. After that, the program needs a valid activation code, delivered when you subscribe to a plan.

Copying, reselling, sharing or modifying the program or its activation codes is not allowed.

The program recognizes jingles, spots and live reads by how similar they are to the audio and text you load. Results may contain errors and should be reviewed before delivering them to a client.

JC Radio Radar is not liable for lost recordings, files or income arising from use of the program. Keep backup copies of your recordings.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador.

Purchase conditions

Plans are paid in US dollars from “My account”, by card (through Payphone), by bank transfer or with PayPal. Published prices do not include taxes.

Each payment covers the chosen period, monthly or yearly. If you renew before it ends, the new period is added from the date it was due, so you lose no days.

You can cancel anytime. The program stays active until the end of the period already paid.

Periods already paid are not refunded, unless the law provides otherwise.

If a charge fails, the program stops analyzing when the paid period ends. Everything already processed stays in your folders.

To change plans, write to us: the change applies from the next period.

Automatic renewal

When paying by card, you can choose automatic renewal by ticking “Renew automatically” before paying. It is optional: if you leave it unticked, you renew yourself from “My account”.

By ticking it, you authorize JC Radio Radar to charge that same card the price of your plan, plus taxes, at the end of each period (monthly or yearly, as you chose), until you cancel the renewal. We keep the date, time and text you accepted as a record.

We do not store your card details. Payphone gives us a code that represents the card and can only be used to charge at JC Radio Radar. It works with Visa and Mastercard.

We notify you by email or WhatsApp a few days before each charge. The charge is made on the day your plan expires; if approved, your plan is extended one more period. If it is declined, we let you know so you can pay another way.

You can cancel automatic renewal anytime from “My account”, with the “Cancel automatic renewal” button, or by writing to us. When you cancel we delete the card code and no further charges are made. Your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid.

If you see a charge you do not recognize, write to us that same day and we will void it.

A PayPal subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it from your PayPal account.

Privacy policy

The station's audio, breaks, spots, shows and transcripts are processed and stored on the station's computer. They are not sent to our servers.

To set up your subscription and provide support we keep the station's name, city, contact name, phone and email. Passwords are stored encrypted.

If you sign in with Google, Google shares only your name and email with us.

Payments are processed by Payphone and PayPal. We never see or store card numbers. If you choose automatic renewal, we keep the card code provided by Payphone, the card brand, its last 4 digits and the cardholder details Payphone shares with us (name, ID number, email and phone), only to make the charges you authorized. We delete them when you cancel the renewal.

The site runs on Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and bots (verification box).

We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except when required by law.
